About me

Lisa Walker.JPG

My Name is Lisa, which I am sure you have worked out by now. I have been working with Polymer Clay for around 10 years. Before that, I worked in the corporate world and crafted for pleasure with lots of mixed media selling my pieces at small shows. However, it was always my dream to be able to teach and share my knowledge with others and work within the crafting world. So after many years of teaching where I could, time allowing with two small children, I decided to take the plunge and go all out to reach my dream, hiring venues and putting on events. 6 years ago I came across Bondworth which used to be a carpet factory here in kidderminster, its now home to many small businesses, during lockdown of 2020 I moved into a larger studio which will give me the ability to offer more to my clients.

I first got involved with Polymer clay through The British Polymer Clay Guild, a non-profit guild with over 20 branches throughout England Scotland and Wales. I visited the NEC Creative Craft show many years ago and visited the BPCG stand. I also spent many an hour watching Debbie Bulford on TV working her magic with Polymer Clay.

You will also be able to find out more about the BPCG branch I run here in Kidderminster,

I am now extremely proud and honoured to have served as  President of this amazing Guild

. These days you can find me at most of the stands we run at the NEC doing demos and running workshops for members of the public.

I count myself very lucky to have a job I love and enjoy so much, Polymer Clay is so versatile with so much potential to use it in is many ways.

I aim always to use my knowledge and passion to guide and support my clients through their creative journey, giving value for money, professional advice and above all customer satisfaction. I feel this is something that shows in the many testimonials I receive.

After years of practice and experimenting, I am able to offer a wide range of courses and workshops from Jewellery to sculptin I also have a range of mixed media classes.
